We can’t help being reminded of Cornwall’s mining heritage by the iconic engine house ruins left abandoned across its landscape. To many these monuments conjure up images of a romantic past but for presenter and architectural historian Professor Jeremy Gould they represent ingenuity and problem solving in a time of fast changing and extreme conditions. In this programme our very own time traveller visits Kernows land of mine and metals to discover for himself more about its unique industrial history and future.
